When I first got a collar, it was to represent that I was a furry. Nothing else.
I didn't wear it because I was Punk ( at the time ), I wore it because I believed I was a fur.
When I put it on, I used to be really nervous. About what everyone thought, about the remarks. Most common is ' Were's the leash, are ya takin' 'er out for a walk?' with resentment I took off the 'tag' and wore it as a 'gothic' style, embracing the furry culture in my own personal mind.
But people still kept commenting, it didn't change.
Suddenly, I saw realit.y.
